The Solution Manager for the Insurance market is responsible for translating the insurer’s questions and market trends towards solutions. The Solution Manager Insurance is expected to create strong relationships on C-level and is seen as a trusted advisor. He or she is known and recognized by the market as an expert and is leading in creating thoughtful solutions for customers. In order to help the customers even more, he or she develops new business models.

Key responsibilities:

  • Initiates, develops, and seeks large scale projects and services within targeted top 5 Insurance accounts in the Netherlands and Belgium, with a very strong focus on pre-procurement and opportunity shaping business development;
  • Develops trusted C-level relationships with different stakeholders at the client;
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key consultants in assigned accounts;
  • Steers on (technology) innovation for the Insurance market via strong domain and technical knowledge;
  • Creates and leads the organization’s Insurance strategy;
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs and develops new/better solutions;
  • Personally leads delivery at the engagements based on expertise within the Insurance market;
  • Creates an energetic atmosphere within the team
  • Requirements

    As a Solution Manager you are the driving force of the Insurance unit. We are looking for a charismatic leader who is the trusted advisor of insurers and is able to manage and inspire different project teams. Based on solid experience on the interface of the business and IT, you translate your clients’ business needs into IT requirements for your teams.

    Requirements:

  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills at University level, preferably a degree holder. Background in Informatics is preferred;
  • Proven track record in the Insurance market, preferably development of large deals, account development and creating an annual deal pipeline with TCV exceeding €2-5 million;
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of new key technologies (such as cloud or blockchain technology);
  • Proven success in the identification and generation of opportunities (or projects) through a combination of pro-active C-level networking, and identifying unique and compelling business case initiation and development;
  • Influential with consultative selling skills;
  • Creative and innovative team player. Able to convince stakeholders;
  • High impact presentation skills;
  • Energetic, and self-starting;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
